Resto Shaman

Shaman. Spell power · Int · MP5

Resto Shaman wants mp5, healing power and intellect. Weapon damage does not matter for a caster; a weapon is only its stats. The BIS set carries a one-hander and an off-hand. Attack power, hit, strength, agility and spirit do nothing for a shaman.

What the spec values

Every stat on every item has a value for Resto Shaman. In order, most to least per point:

MP5 Core
Healing power Core
Intellect Core
Crit Useful

Stamina, Armor, Arcane resist, Fire resist, Frost resist, Nature resist, Shadow resist: a small survival value, the same for every spec. A character who lives longer heals longer.

The board paints each stat on an item by what it is worth to you; this is the order behind the colors. The rest of the model is on How scoring works.

The theoretical BIS set

The highest-scoring set of raid items the model can assemble for Resto Shaman, 8 pieces of The Earthshatterer among them. It scores 625 HPS, the ceiling your results page measures a run against.
