Affliction Warlock
Warlock. Spell power · Hit · Spirit
Affliction Warlock wants hit and spell power. Hit caps at 16%, and anything over the cap does nothing. Weapon damage does not matter for a caster; a weapon is only its stats. The BIS set uses a staff. Attack power, strength and agility do nothing for a warlock.
What the spec values
Every stat on every item has a value for Affliction Warlock. In order, most to least per point:
- Hit Core capped at 16%
- Spell power Core
- Crit Useful
- Stamina Marginal
- Intellect Marginal
- Spirit Marginal
Armor, Arcane resist, Fire resist, Frost resist, Nature resist, Shadow resist: a small survival value, the same for every spec. A character who lives longer attacks longer.
The board paints each stat on an item by what it is worth to you; this is the order behind the colors. The rest of the model is on How scoring works.
The theoretical BIS set
The highest-scoring set of raid items the model can assemble for Affliction Warlock, 8 pieces of Plagueheart Raiment among them. It scores 1225 DPS, the ceiling your results page measures a run against.
