How to play
You draft a full Classic raid set, one boss at a time. Every pick is permanent. At the end, you get a parse. That's it.
The loop
Pick a spec. You get a random boss and see what it drops for you. Pick one item.
Once you take an item, that slot is locked for the rest of the run. Get a better helm later? Too bad. Your head slot is already filled.
Keep going until all 17 slots are filled.
What makes it hard
You can't swap anything, so it's not just about whether an item is good.
Do you take the okay belt now, or wait and hope something better shows up later?
Take too much early and you might end up with a mediocre set. Wait too long and the game will give you garbage at the end.
That's basically the whole game.
Rerolls
You get two rerolls per run.
Reroll Boss throws out the current boss and gives you another boss from the same raid.
Reroll All throws out the whole raid and gives you a new one.
You get one of each.
You'll never get a boss that has nothing you can use, so you're only rerolling when you don't like what you're seeing.
Two-handers
A two-hander fills both your main hand and off hand with one pick.
For warriors, that's usually worse than getting two good one-handers, but sometimes the weapon boards are just terrible and it's worth taking.
Rogues can't use two-handers in Vanilla, so they won't see them.
Tier sets
The site tracks your tier pieces and shows how close you are to each set bonus.
Taking a tier piece that's worse right now and hoping you get the rest of the set later can pay off big.
Sometimes you hit the 8-piece and look like a genius. Sometimes you end up with three pieces of a set and nothing to show for it.
Scoring
At the end you get a DPS number and a parse.
The DPS is based on stat weights calibrated against WoWSims, with things like hit caps, set bonuses, and important procs taken into account.
It's not a full sim.
The parse is a percentile for your spec, with a fixed DPS target for a 100 parse.
99 means you drafted an insane set. 40 means your run sucked. Maybe bad luck. Maybe bad picks. You know which.

Sharing
Every finished run gets a card you can throw straight into Discord.
It shows your gear and your parse, so your guild can see what you drafted.
Cost
Free.
No account. Nothing to install.
Data
Items come from the open source Mangos databases and wow-classic-items.
The scoring is calibrated against WoWSims, so credit where it's due.

Raiders finding weird numbers is probably the most useful feedback we get.
