About
100parse is a small project built by two people who play too much WoW.
The best part of raiding isn't the fight, it's the loot argument afterward. So we built a game that is only the loot argument: you draft gear, you commit, you get scored, and then you can argue about it.
What's here now
Vanilla World of Warcraft, the playable specs, the Standard mode, the Daily mode where everyone playing a spec drafts the same board, and leaderboards. Accounts are optional - sign in with an email address or with Discord and your run history sticks around; play without one and nothing is tied to you. We kept the first release deliberately small - we would rather put something playable in front of people and build it in the open than polish in private for a year.
What's coming
More specs, and more modes beyond drafting.
How the scoring works
Item values come from published community EP stat weights. The DPS estimate is calibrated against WoWSims and accounts for hit caps, set bonuses and notable procs. It is a fast model, not a full simulation - good enough to rank drafts against each other, not good enough to plan a raid night around. Item data comes from wow-classic-items and loot tables from mangos. When weights change, we only change them at month boundaries, and old runs keep the weights they were scored under.
Why the stats look the way they do
Some of you have pointed out that Classic has weapon skill rather than expertise, spell damage and spell healing rather than one spell power number, and crit and hit as percentages rather than ratings. We know. The site uses the later format on purpose, for three reasons.
One stat model carries straight into TBC and Wrath, which we want to add without rebuilding every item and every spec. It also sims and balances more cleanly: rating-style weights put every stat on one scale, so specs can be tuned against each other without one class being boxed in by how its numbers happen to be written.
One spell power number is a balance decision. Split into damage and healing, most caster drops are dead items for the other kind of caster, and a healer would be fed useless gear all run long. With one number, a healing piece is still not great for a mage, and spirit and spell hit are still priced low where they should be, but the item is worth something rather than nothing.
We tested and simulated each of these both ways before settling on the current model. None of it is set in stone. If enough of you want more vanilla stats in a future update, we are open to changing it. We read every piece of feedback and we change things when the community makes the case. Tell us in the box on the front page, or at [email protected].
Who runs it
100parse is operated by Anviledger LLC, a limited liability company registered in New Mexico, United States. The site is free to play and takes no payments. Hosting and running costs are covered by the people who run it, with help from optional Patreon support. Nobody who gives money has any say in item values, scoring or anything else on the site.
Getting in touch
