- Why is my parse what it is?
- A parse is where your run's DPS sits against everyone else's runs on the same spec, as a percentile. A 90 beat nine in ten of them. The DPS comes from the stat model; the percentile comes from the spec's curve of real runs. Both are explained on How scoring works.
- An item showed as worth nothing. Is that a bug?
- Usually not. Each spec values each stat differently, and some stats are worth exactly nothing to a spec: spirit to a warrior, attack power to a mage. The board colours an item's stats by what they are worth to you, and the spec guides list the order. If a stat you know matters is painted as nothing, that is a bug and we want to hear about it.
- How do rerolls work?
- Three a run. A reroll skips the boss on the board and draws another. Spend them on a board with nothing for you, not on one with something.
- Why can I only play one Warrior spec in Daily?
- Daily is one run per class per day. Pick Arms or Fury for the day; the class is then done. Boards are still per spec, both warrior boards exist and rank on their own. The day total is your best five classes. Standard has no such limit.
- What are practice days?
- Supporters can go back and play any past daily board. Those runs are practice: they never count for a leaderboard, a streak or a badge. The arrows above the class boxes on the front page step between days.
- Why can I not restart a Daily run?
- A Daily board is one board played once, like a duel leg. A restart would be a free reroll of the whole board. Standard runs restart as always.
- What is Score?
- How well you drafted, as one number: the precision of your picks against what each board offered, and the rarity of what you ended up wearing. Two runs with the same parse can have different Scores.
- When do weights, curves and the 100 bar change?
- At month boundaries, and never retroactively. A run keeps the version it was scored under and its parse never moves. When a spec is badly off target mid-month we say so in the patch notes and move only that spec; the recut of hunter and ret on 21 September is the example.
- What does a Patreon sub get?
- The supporter badge and icon, unlimited username changes, your own channels in the Discord where we read and answer, and practice runs on past daily boards. The $15 tier adds the Hero badge and a role colour.
- How do I report a run?
- Every results page has a report link for signed-in players. Reports go to the moderation queue and a removed run comes off every board.
- Why are there no healers or tanks?
- The site scores DPS. A healing or tanking model is a different thing to build and calibrate, and it is not on the list yet. Every DPS spec is.
- Why does the leaderboard have a Warrior chip and an Arms chip?
- Boards are per spec. The Warrior chip ranks both warrior specs together on parse; the Arms and Fury chips show each alone. Every one-spec class has a single chip.
- What is Arena?
- A duel without a link. Queue for a 1v1 and get matched with someone waiting in the same format. Both of you draft the same boards, each playing every leg in a row, and the results show when both are done. Any class, pick each leg, best of 3 to start, target dummy. A rating per season and an Arena board. Signed-in players only. Your place in the queue holds for a day, so you can queue, leave, and find the match waiting on the front page.
- Where do the item stats come from, and why do they look different from the game?
- From wow-classic-items and the mangos loot tables, then converted to one stat format: one spell power number, expertise instead of weapon skill, ratings instead of percentages. The About page explains why.
- Where are the boards for past months?
- On the leaderboard, under This month, the arrows step back a month at a time. Past months are final.
